Rafting Uganda, White Water Rafting

 

Day 1: KAMPALA - JINJA

After taking breakfast at your hotel   our guide will pick you up   and take you for a voyage to one of the historical cities in Eastern Uganda! Jinja famous for having been the former industrial town of Uganda. Jinja Town is also known for the origin of the mighty River Nile. Along the way, you will take a stop over at Mabira Forest for a picnic and a forest walk in search for primates like the  Colobus monkeys, red tailed monkeys, Baboons, Blue Mangabeys,  birds, butterflies  among others. After, you will continue to Jinja to visit the source of the Nile from where you will move to Bujagali falls. At Bujagali falls there are many optional activities like floating down on the challenging rapids and relaxing on the shores of the Nile, Bungee Jumping, rafting and many others. Dinner and overnight at Gately on the Nile/ Kingfisher Resort/ Jinja Nile resort / Hotel Triangle.

 

Day 2: RAFTING Uganda safari
Wake up very early in the morning and go for your rafting adventure. Top eminence safety gear and highly clued-up guides run the prevalent rapids viable. Entirety rafting is for 25 km of river with some of the best rapids in the world.  The option is yours on either doing all the side runs or decide a few. The river is ranked 4+ to 5 and provides one of the best day rafting trips on planet Earth! Enormous standing waves leap from the clear blue skies and rock walls quiver from the power of the booming rapids. Be among the first to encounter the spectacular excitement and pleasure of the Nile white water rafting from this point of Bujagali falls before it is turned to a power supplying Dam.

 

RAFTING GEAR
Bring a swimsuit, a pair of shorts and a pair of sandals or trainers (tennis shoes) to wear on the river. You will get wet, so carry clothes for changing. Facilities are available for cameras to be protected while on the river. Don’t forget sunscreen, sunglasses and a smile. After rafting you will get back to Kampala or Entebbe if you have your flights on this day.
Note that rafting may be half day depending on your flight departure time.
