Camping Safari Africa Uganda 16 Days

Day 1, 27th July
Early morning head to Murchison Falls National park have lunch en route then proceed to the park passing through Kichumba Nyumbo gate. Arriving in the evening relax at the park then have dinner and overnight at Red chili Campsites
in the National park.

Day 2, 28th July
Take an early morning Game drive via the Nyamusika plateau and Albert track. You may be able to see Elephants, Lions, Giraffes, and Buffaloes Hartebeests among others.

After lunch proceeds for a launch cruise along the Victoria Nile up stream to the base of the falls. En route you will be able to see Hippos, Crocodiles basking along the river banks, Water barks and a variety of bird species including African Fish eagles and the rare Shoe Bills among others.
In the evening return to the Campsite for dinner and overnight.


Day 3, 29th July
After early morning breakfast head to the West to Kibale National Park in Fort Portal. Its a very long journey you will reach there in the evening have a break and relax then have dinner and overnight at Toro Resort in Fort portal.

Day 4, 30th July
Early morning, set off for Chimp tracking and you will be able to see other wildlife like black and white Columbus monkeys, bush babies, bush pigs grey cheeked mongabay among others. In the afternoon you will head for Bigodi swamp walk, you will be returning to Toro resort for the overnight and dinner.

DAY 5, 31st July
Early morning will head for Mount Rwenzori Park headquarters and after briefing you will Begin climbing to Nyabitaba Hut (2650m) after breakfast walking through the banana shambas on the side of the steep hill, past the typical Bakojo homesteads with the children waving you on. Follow the trail along Mubuku River through landslides and up and down rocks and buffs, cross the Mahoma River and climb steeply through bracken fern slopes and podocarpus forest to Nyabitaba Hut for the overnight.

DAY 6, 1st August
To John Matte Hut (3350m).The trail from Nyabitaba drops down through the forest to the kurf Shafer bridge, just below the confluence of the Bujuku and Mubuku Rivers steep ascent through Bamboo forest, traversing along and exhausting stretch of slippery moss-covered rock. From Nyamileju rock shelter, on clear days, Mt Stanley and Speke can be glimpsed before passing into the zone of the giant heather and lobelia. The final stretch to the Hut is across a tiring bog, the first of many for the mountain is infamous. Over night at John matte hut.

DAY 7, 2nd August
To Bujuku Hut (3900m) immediately after John Matte Hut, the trail drops down to cross the Bujuku River and enters lower Bigo bog home of giant lobelia, the bog is finally crossed but rarely without the feet sampling some of the freezing mud below. The upper Bigo bog gives way to the Bukuju Lake, with views of Mt Baker. This is a tough walk over 3 glaciers and slippery rock; these are very exposed areas and open on both sides. Its only for the physically fit and needs a lot of technical climb which requires roping up, crampons and appropriate equipment for the cold, windy and icy conditions to climb in a minimum group of pairs meaning that each person should strictly have 2 climbers and 2 guides. Over night at Bujuku Hut.

DAY 8, 3rd August
To Nyabitaba (2650m) the path down can be slippery and muddy with little to hold on to and requires careful balancing over the vertical mud or steep rock. An overnight stop at the Nyabataba Hut is a pleasant rest after the exertion of the
days.

DAY 9, 4th August

To Nyakalengija trail head (1600m) a gentle descent down the muddy paths to the trail head, early afternoon. Will have lunch at hotel margarita in kasese before you head for Queen Elizabeth National park. You will be arriving in the evening and check in at Students camp ground for dinner and overnight.

Day 10, 5th August
Early morning set off for the game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park and you will have an opportunity of seeing a variety of wildlife including Elephants, Baboons, Buffaloes, Kobs, Warthogs, Waterbucks, Impalas, Leopards, Lions, and the exclusive Giant Forest Hog among others. In the afternoon, we will take you for a launch cruise on Kazinga channel which reveals a stunning panorama of Lake George and Edward amidst game-filled plains. You will be able to see birds like Grey Leroine, Pieking Fishers, Fish eagles,
Sparuang Grover. Palmnut Voulcher, Cattle Eaglets, Thick nee, plowed stock, Bladen Ibis, Grey headed King Fisher and African Jacana a among others. In the evening return to the camp ground for dinner and overnight.

Day 11, 6th August
Early morning set off to the Baboon cliff with an elevation of 900 to 1200 ranging to 5000 meters above the sea level. This is an open depression with savannah vegetation and has got primates including chimpanzees among others.
Proceed to Immaramagabo forest for a nature walk and you will be able to visit the Great blue lake and then proceed to Kyasaduka trail to see monkeys and baboons, visit the colonies of core dandling fruit bats and the hunters cave
among others. Return to the camp ground for dinner and overnight.

DAY 12 7th August
Early set off and head to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park passing through Ishasha and you will have the opportunity of seeing the tree climbing Lions en route. You will arrive in Bwindi late in the evening and have dinner and overnight in
Buhoma Community Rest Camp.

DAY 13, 8th August
After early morning breakfast, have a briefing from the guide then set off for Gorilla trekking .This activity can last for a whole day or just for a few hours depending on where the Gorillas will be the climax of the trip is when the endangered Gorillas are viewed from a close range. its hard to estimate how long it may take trekking. After trekking take some rest have dinner and overnight at the campsite.

Day 14, 9th August
Early morning visit the waterfalls and depending on the luck of the day you may be able to see Gorillas on your way to the waterfalls other animals that can be viewed include Monkeys and birds among others. In the afternoon go for the village walk and you will be amazed at what the village
has got to offer. You will be able to learn how alcohol can be brewed from the Bananas, visit the craft shops around, visit the butterfly loop, visit traditional medicine healer, visit the Batwa dancing community among others. Return to the campsite for dinner and overnight.

DAY 15 10th August
Early morning proceed to Kabale to visit Lake Bunyonyi reaching in the afternoon relax and have overnight at Bushara Island.


Day 16, 11th August
Early morning set off back to Kampala and you will be able to visit the Equator line and take some time to relax there. Proceed and make another stopover to Mpabire royal drum makers arriving in Kampala early evening.

The total cost will be
