Birdwatching Safaris in Uganda
No other country in Africa can match Uganda’s diversity of habitats and this is reflected in the country’s burgeoning list of over 1000 species. This is more than half of the continents bird population and over 10% of bird species recorded through out the world. Nearly 30 species are endemic to the Albertine rift on Uganda’s western border with Congo.
Uganda is endowed with various climates which have led to a variety of habitats conducive for various bird species.
