Murchison Falls National Park.

Murchison falls national park is a park you would expect of a top class African holiday or even more. This park has been a destination for millions of travelers since the days of Livingstone and Speke.

Murchison falls is the largest protected national park in Uganda covering 3840 sq km. the park is located in the north western part of the country . Visiting Murchison falls you will come to acknowledge that indeed Uganda is gifted by nature.

It is here that you will meet a unique diversity of Africa’s wild life. Lions, Elephants, giraffe , Antelopes to mention but a few make this park their home.

Come and see the great Murchison falls, where the park delivers its name, this is a must see as you will meet the Nile ( the world longest river) exploding through a narrow cleft
as it enters the rift valley escarpments. You will view one of Africa’s wonders here, imagine the whole of river Nile bursting through sixty meter drop.


At the base of the falls the Nile hosts Africa’s densest Hippo and crocodile population. The bird life here is dazzling actually this park alone hosts over 350 species of birds
including the rare shoebill stock.


Among other things you will also enjoy a wide variety of primates like baboons, monkeys, and chimpanzees.
