Lake Mburo National Park.

 

This is the nearest national park from Kampala, the park covers 260 sq.km. and it is 4 hours drive from Kampala.
The park is centered with in the five lakes and is covered by Acacia grass land.

 

It is a home to the gigantic Eland and Zebras among other mammals, the lakes here also attract hippos, crocodiles and a variety of water birds.

 

The park will treat you to a game drive where you will meet about 68 species of mammals the common one being the zebras, eland, leopard ,hyenas and the Jackals.

 

The boat ride on the lakes will treat you to explore the crocodile, hippos, bird life that includes a rare shoebill stock. In total there are over 26 species of birds in this park.
