Murchison Falls National Park
The largest National Park in Uganda. 3,480 sq km!
We take you around this park for game viewing in search for animals like the giraffes, Elephants, lions, leopards among others, Nature guided walks that include chimpanzee tracking, primates view of Black and white colobus monkeys, red tailed monkeys, name them. We also take you for a launch trip to the bottom of the fall which gives an array of prolific wildlife on the banks of the river including elephant, crocodile, hippopotamus, lion, giraffe, buffalo, and countless antelopes. While a hike from the cliff at the bottom of the falls to the top of the falls might be strenuous but a worthwhile. Sport fishing and encounter of the Nile Perch in the Nile with us is interesting while the diversity of birds including the legendary Shoe bill stork is a memorable experience for bird watchers!
The magnificent falls in Murchison falls NP showcase the mighty river Nile plummeting through a narrow fissure and over a 40-metre drop. In the eastern sector of the park, before the Murchison Falls themselves, are the Karuma Falls, where the Nile surges over a magnificent 23 km of rapids, creating some of the most exciting white-water rafting opportunities in Africa. A cruise upstream the Nile to the foot falls and the hike to the top of the falls with us is a memorable experience!
