Gorilla Trekking Safari – 3 days


Day One; Drive to Bwindi National park.
This morning after breakfast this tour will take you  south west of Uganda to Bwindi National park the gorilla sanctuary. Be fore warned that is a long and bumpy drive, but experience is worth the struggle.  Overnight in Either luxury or budget accommodations.

Day Two: Gorilla trekking.
Before 8 am you will transfer to the park headquarters for a briefing from the park rangers, where they will give you a brief history of the park and then you will join others to track through the forest searching for the gorillas. On reach the last spot where they were left the previous day, you will start trekking them, and when you meet them, you will be allowed to spend just one hour following them watching them and taking photos. Please note that flashing while taking photos is not allowed therefore carry a flash free camera.  After spending one hour with the gorillas you will then walk back to your hotel/ lodge.  If you are track gorillas the things you should carry for your trip include, a hat, sun cream, long trousers, hiking boats, a rain coat, and of course a camera. Overnight in a luxury/ budget accommodation.

Day Three: Bwindi- Kampala

At 6 am you will depart Bwindi National park, to transfer back to Kampala. The drive  take you through many district to include Bundibugyo , Mbarara, Masaka and Mpigi, you will stop at the equator for photos and then proceed to reach Kampala in the early evening hours.  End of tour.
