 DAY 1 TO MURCHISON FALLS NATIONAL PARK
An early departure though worth while! After breakfast, our representative / guide will pick you up from your hotel for your safari to Murchison Falls National Park . The drive will take you through the famous and historical Luwero triangle, Nakitoma Nakasongola . Before heading to Masindi, you will have a stop over at the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary in to view the Rhinos. Uganda’s Rhinos became extinct in the early 1980s, after a period of civil unrest and heavy poaching. This sanctuary has now been set to breed black and white rhino, and restore Rhino populations in Uganda’s protected areas in a later stage.
This is a long drive as you travel northwards through the country and once you reach the Nile in the heart of the Park, you will cross with a ferry to the Northern bank of the park  if you are to stay at Paraa Lodge .The sight of the Nile River, the world's longest river, winding its way through the park and plunging through a narrow gap is unforgettable.Overnight at
Luxurios Paraa Safari Lodge or Nile Safari Camp
Mid range Sambiya River Lodge
Basic Red Chilli Rest Camp (Low budget/basic accommodation). Full Board.

 

Day 2 THE LAUNCH CRUISE ALONG THE VICTORIA NILE Uganda safari

 

Go for an early morning game drive on at the Northern Bank of the Murchison falls National park   Expect encounters of unique African Savannah like giraffe, elephant, antelope, lion, and the hundsome Uganda Kob. Return to the lodge for mid morning breakfast, as you relax to wait for Lunch.
After lunch, you will go for a launch cruise on the Nile River. The cruise takes you to the Bottom of the roaring falls where you will see huge crocodiles, schools of hippos, buffaloes, elephants and a variety of water birds like herons, ducks, cormorants, bee-eaters, skimmers, kingfishers, fish eagle and the rare shoebill.    There is an optional hike to the top of the falls which takes an hour or two if you are flexible enough. The trails at the cliff of the Nile at the bottom of the falls takes you to the Top of the falls to view the thunderous roars of the Nile 46 metres wide plunging its self into a 7 metres wide gorge. The hike is strenuous on steep cliff but a successful hiker will call it a worthwhile! Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.


Day 3: TO FORTPORTAL
After breakfast you will be taken to Fort Portal town, through the villages and beautiful scenery.  Have lunch en route .In the evening you will  Visit the Toro Palace. Toro is one of the four traditional kingdoms located within the borders of Uganda. It was founded in 1830 when Omukama Kaboyo Olimi I, the eldest son of Omukama Nyamutukura Kyebambe III, rebelled and established his own independent kingdom. Incorporated back into Bunyoro-Kitara in 1876, it reasserted its independence in 1891.Like Buganda, Bunyoro, and Busoga, Toro's monarchy was abolished in 1967 by the government of Uganda, but was reinstated in 1993 by His excellency Yoweri . K . Museveni.Toro Kingdom earned a place in the Guinness Book of World Records as the first Kingdom with a Toddler king. The well keepers of the Palace will give you more information about their palace. You will then be transferred to your Lodge  for Dinner and over night at

Day 4: CHIMPANZEE TRACKING
Take breakfast and then assemble at Kanyankyu tourist centre for an morning Chimpanzee trek at Kibale Forest. Kibale National Park is a habitat for more than 10 primate species, which include, black & white colobus monkeys, red colobus monkeys, vervet monkeys and many others. Have lunch and then go for a swamp walk in Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary a community owned swamp under  Kibale Association for Rural and Environmental organization formed in 1992 with the aim of achieving social and economic development for local communities.  Your guide will provide detailed information as the walk goes on. This area harbors over 137 bird species including the Snowy Headed Robin Cat, Emerald Cuckoo, Black and White Casqued Hornbill and a variety of Weavers, Warblers, Greenbuls and Sunbirds. You will also see plenty of butterflies and the unique flora such as wild palms, polita figs and the dominant papyrus. Return to the  lodge for dinner and over night.


Day 5: TO QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK
After an early breakfast, you'll leave for Fort portal and  transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park . It is little surprising that QENP hosts one of the highest biodiversity ratings of any game reserve in the world. Almost 100 mammal species and a renowned 606 bird species make it a superb birders’ paradise! With elephant, a profusion of hippos, the elusive giant forest hog and handsome Uganda kob all regularly sighted around the tourist village on the Mweya Peninsula , it also  boasts a marvelous waterfront setting in the shadow of the fabled Rwenzori Mountains. Elsewhere, the remote Ishasha Sector is famed for its tree-climbing lions, the Kyambura Gorge harbours habituated chimps, the Maramagambo Forest is home to an alluring selection of forest monkeys and birds, and flocks of flamingo are resident on the crater lakes.A game drive en route may give you encounters of some of the biodiversity that Queen Elizabeth  Has

Day 6: THE LAUNCH CRUISE ALONG THE KAZINGA CHANNEL
Having taken a cup of coffee, get on an early morning game drive along Kasenyi track and Queens mile in the park  in search for Lions, Elephants, cape buffalo, Warthogs, leopard, mangoose, waterbucks, hyena, Uganda kobs, Topi and lots many small animals and birds. After lunch, relax in a 2-hours boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel and into Lake Edward. This trip passes through possibly the highest concentration of Hippos and many animals may be seen drinking at the water's edge. This launch cruise offers an excellent platform for photography, bird watching and game viewing. The prolific bird life is colorful and stupendous with well over 550 resident species.


Day 7 TRANSFERS TO KABALE
Transfer to Kabale through the Ishasha sector. You will first take a game drive to search for tree climbing lions and then after   drive to Kabale.   In the afternoon, you will go for a village walk  to see the cultures of  people of Kabale .  Visit the Kabale Musuem which  provides an insight into the traditional life of the Bakiga peoples. The museum has a restaurant, info centre, fair trade gift shop and small hostel .  In the evening, relax as you wait for dinner and over night at

Day 8    Transfer To L. Mburo National Park
You will take a boat ride on Lake Bunyonyi  to the Various Islands. The lake is known to be the deepest in Uganda with birders’ bliss. After you will go to L. Mburo national park. Lake Mburo National Park is a pearl of a park, expediently located close to the western thoroughfare that links up Kampala to the other parks of western Uganda. Although the park is just 370km2 in size, its topography is speckled and even a short drive is alive with interest and color. You'll pass gallery forest, open savanna and acacia woodland, rock kopjes, seasonal and permanent swamps, and open water, as you search for the wealth of wildlife it supports. This includes species such as impala, Burchell's zebra, and eland that are not found elsewhere in western Uganda.
Have an evening walk to the salt lick area and then dinner and over night at
Luxurious Mantana Luxury tented camps/ Mihingo Lodge/
Basic Rwonyo camp.

 

Day 9 Transfer back to Kampala
Wake up very early in the morning for a Morning game drive in lake Mburo Np. You will be taken back to Kampala.  Have a stop over at the Equator. Lunch en route.
